Hi,
can I get 2 SSD to create 2 different RAID 1, one for Qtier and one for Cache ? (in practice both on the same SSD partitioned)
thanks

Re: SSD partition for Qtier and Cache
no ....qtier and cache needs exclusive access to the disks
so no splitting them for multipurpose (as you could with multiple thick or thin volumes)

Re: SSD partition for Qtier and Cache
You are forgetting that if you partition the SSD, the DATA ACCESS needs to be shared. Since each ssd has a read and write speed limit, accessing 2 partitions at the same time through 2 diffrent processes will cut speed by HALF perhaps even more due to task complexity.
its serves you best running one race at full focus.
Its best to think of the drive as a whole bringing its FULL ACCESS TO READ/WRITE to one process. Making it do 2 two jobs at the same time would result in doing both poorly.
