[Storage & Snapshots] Failed to upload disk analysis data

Post by Cryptic »

I have a pair of TS-1677XU-RP That I upgraded to 4.4.1.1064 last night. This morning I am welcomed by a spate of "[Storage & Snapshots] Failed to upload disk analysis data." messages for most of my disks on both units.

Yeah, same here.I only have a static volume and
Control Panel -> Storage & Snapshots -> Global Setting (gearwheel icon on top right) -> Disk Health -> Share my disk analysis data with QNAP
is not available to me.

what is there to elaborate?

one is an error message on file upload
the other is a missing feature, due to choice volume

how is that the same ?

open a new thread..don't hijack an existing one

 It is the same. Both the OP and I receive the same alerts. The OP is not uploading files, but is receiving a warning alert.

It is a warning notification that started after upgrading to the latest QTS version. No other configuration changes were made. These alerts did not exist before the upgrade.

I mentioned launching "Storage & Snapshots" & editing the global settings because in another thread, it was suggested to turn off the setting. :!:
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Sounds like you're clever enough to fix your own problems. You're certainly not endearing yourself for help.

Seems to be. I have not gotten another spate of those messages since I shut off "Share my disk analysis data with QNAP". I suppose it isn't a "fix" if I want to share that data, but I don't particularly care, so....

Thanks for the advice. I was also getting this regular warning message and after turning off that setting they have stopped.

How many crappy answers can you get from these ignorant a**holes?
Well I was looking for some help, but all I got was where not to look for.
