4 bay NAS with 2 disks in RAID 1 – expand to 4 disks and RAID 6

Post by johk02 »

Hi,

I currently have a 4 bay NAS with only 2 disks.
If the 2 disks are in a RAID 1 – can I later add 2 more disks and change the RIAD to RAID 6?

Thanks
