TR-004
Hello, is there a trick getting this to work with 4 drives? I have it connect to a 431-P3. I can get 2 drives to work but when I add more it messes up the first 2. what am i missing?

Re: TR-004
how r u configuring it to begin with ? since you plug direct into the 431, can i assume you are managing it via qts and not independently using the tr-004 windows management app?
did install 4 hdds into tr004 and setting up a raid5? and what is it's current setup like with the 2 existing hard drives on the tr-004?
well i don't have enuff info to troubleshoot your issue, but if you backup your data elsewhere, you could reinitialize your tr-004. Then adds those 4 hdds then create a raid5 using qts.
OR alternatively you can set it up as a raid5 on standalone mode using the windows qnap utility app that can create the raid5 without using qts. I believe that you can still connect this to the QNAP and use as an external USB. But whenever you want to manage it, you need to connect to a windows pc and use the qnap utility app for tr-004 i presume.
personally i'd rather setup raid5 in the external mode for tr-004. because then, if anything happens to the qnap nas, you aren't then dependent on requiring a qnap nas to recover your data.

Re: TR-004
Are all the drives sizes the same? Are you using SW control or HW control (dip switches in back) for your Raid type?
