Anyone know how to disable this new "feature" ?
I do keep on top of the updates but a specified time is a PITA.
Clients could be writing files through the night or just be busy and this creates disruption to all users.
Anyone worked it out?

you should look into the control panel -> system -> firmware -> auto update

Re: How to turn Firmware auto update off?
that's simple. i did it already after reinitialize.
there is an option to disable the new default for auto firmware update.
however thkfully the new firmware notification is separate. that one i left enabled which i recommend.

Re: How to turn Firmware auto update off?
There are tick boxes for "latest" or recommended I know that.
I'm expecting a "disable" ?
Are the 2 tick boxes when unticked basically "off" ?

Yes. If neither "latest" nor "recommended" are checked, then you get nothing.spacesimon wrote: ↑Sat May 01, 2021 1:32 am There are tick boxes for "latest" or recommended I know that.

Thanks for posting this. Just updated to a new version and started reading about auto-update when I just happened to notice the subject elsewhere.Mousetick wrote: ↑Sat May 01, 2021 4:27 amYes.
