he checked the system and so that everything normal and he said that this is the first time to see that no one saw such issue before then he said
I asked this case to other engineers but seems no one see that issue before. I guess pressing rebuild is the best option here (rather then re-inserting your old HDD back to Qnap)

i tried what he said but still nothing working still same problem and I update them with no replay until now from the support for more than 1 hour

do you think we can check this issue on skype or team view? so you can see it correctly?
i don't know if this is allowed or not sorry my English is not first and as I mentioned I'm new in this issue

You would have to wait for qnap to come back to you

Only support here is forum support..we are all users..no private support (BobZelin might be the exception..)

ok im trying my best here to make this working I have added 4th drive and as you can see its set free>>>> so when I go to the error and click on Degraded it give me the option to select raid group 1 and then click rebuild then select drive so I select the new free drive>>>>> once I do this nothing happen screen will just disappear and the drive start to be spare instead of free and to hev it free back I have to take it out and insert it again!

Note: I meant to replace drive 2 i just insert drive 1 to support rebuild

wait for QNAP support .. most importantly check that your backups are current

make sure you external devices are in good health (USB HDD,secondary NAS, cloud)

I have a feeling you have no backups ... so unless your data is not important, run to the store and buy a disk that can fit all your data and start making backups

hmmm i never have those never plugged any USB hdd before nor cloud
so another issue now good luck for me lol
