Replacing the main drive in the TS-251D

Post by Wezyr »

Hi,

I am looking for a way to replace and transfer data from my main drive to a new main drive. The unit is not set up in RAID, but both bays are occupied. I would like to transfer the data and configurations from the old drive to the new drive, preferably without having to reconfigure the settings of the system itself as well as the additional applications located on the main drive. Is there a solution to do this without having to reconfigure everything on the new drive?

No there is no easy way..the caveats of not using raid

Pull it and restore the data from backups and reinstall all apps
