Hi all,
it's possible remove a Raid Group of Storage Pool?
I mistakenly added a new raid 1 instead of adding two discs to the current raid 10. The storage pool has not yet been extended at the space level. Is it possible to remove the newly added raid1 and enlarge raid 10?
All discs are same sizes

Thanks

No
No that's also not possible....and enlarge raid 10?
A RAID 10 can only be expanded by replacing disks with larger, not by adding disks. If using a RAID 10 and wanting to add disks to a pool, you need to add them as separate RAID groups like you have done now. The only way to get a RAID 10 containing all your disks disks would be to backup all data and to reinitialize the storage from scratch.
RAID 5 and RAID 6 can be expanded by adding disks as well as replacing them with larger.
RAID have never ever been a replacement for backups. Without backups on a different system (preferably placed at another site), you will eventually lose data!
A non-RAID configuration (including RAID 0, which isn't really RAID) with a backup on a separate media protects your data far better than any RAID-volume without backup.
All data storage consists of both the primary storage and the backups. It's your money and your data, spend the storage budget wisely or pay with your data!
