Error creating a volume

Post by pmccarta »

Im a novice to this type of stuff, so please be patient with me.
Im trying to create a new volume on my NAS TS-453BT3. Im doing this to create a volume to store surveliance videos.

When I try to create a the volume I get message Pool free space is not enough. Im not sure why?

Im uploaded a couple images that might help.

Your first (system) volume is taking the whole pool space. You can either do one of two things:

1. Shrink your existing thick volume and use the free pool space to create your second volume.

2. Just create a second share on your existing volume.
