Why when I open Windows file explorer the volume used and free differs from what the NAS read?

Sorry I meant to write, free space does not add up. There is 1.71 available, 181.65GB of stored data and 1.31TB of free space.
Why, what is using this volume?

the values seem correct and match on both screens) (please always attach screenshots to the forum and not 3rd party websites)

Unclear where the issue is

*edit* .. oh you mean the storage used in the shares.. is there any previous shares that were deleted but not the actual files ?

I recently bought my NAS and am somewhat a newb. I may have deleted shared folders and not the content.

Sorry for third party images, it was late when I posted and am new with not much clue how to post the pics to the site.

to check you either need to search through your nas via ssh or create a new share and define the storage space manual (then you can browse the volume(s))
