TS-509 lost disks?

Post by arakasi55 »

Hi, i'm having a problem with my TS-509, which up until now has worked fine. NAS is configured with 4 Seagate 1.5tb's in RAID5 w/ hotspare.
About a week ago I started having a problem where drive 2 would generate an alert that it had been ejected, this is despite no one touching it and it being in a locked cabinet.
I assumed the drive was faulty, replaced it, and bingo, the array was rebuilding.

Then about 2 days ago, I got an alert on one of the drives that there was a read/write error. I checked the SMART status, which was Good, ran some tests and all OK.
Removing and reinserting the drive didn't help.

Now it seems, all my drives have dropped off. I click on disk management/volume management in the web console and it just sits there saying "Loading Data, please wait..."
No Disks appear.
I click on RAID management. Nothing appears.
Clicking on HDD SMART now takes me back to the login page!
If I look at the LCD and click through the Physical Disks, it shows the drive size and temps OK.

I've updated to the latest firmware (3.1.2 Build 1014T) and done a full factory reset on the unit, but no love.

Any help would be really appreciated!!
