ts-101 and partition on raid 1 disk

Post by sylvain » Fri Feb 08, 2008 4:08 pm

hi, i would like to use a 1 Tb external drive (western digital my book) for raid 1 mirroring.
my TS-101 drive is 250Gb, and in the administration interface it's only possible to format the entire raid hdd.
Is there any way to use only a partiton of this drive for the mirroring?
create a ex3 partition under linux? or use telnet and command line?
because loosing 750Gb is not my favorite option
