QNAP Firmware version: 3.7.3 Build 20120801
Symform ver: 3.8.16
Memory usage snapshot in attached file.
I am contributing 200GB for last 4 months. And it has been rough. I need to reboot my NAS every couple of days. When A/V scanner kicks in there is no chance I can do a thing on the box.
How to minimize memory usage by Symform processes? Otherwise will need to quite using Symform. It was good idea at the beginning but it is more a hurdle now.
Thanks

Hello siwy417,
I understand that you are having an issue with the amount of memory that the Symform contribution service is using.
Can you please send in a support request to: support@symform.com ? And, please include a current screen shot of TOP. You can run the TOP command by accessing your QNAP via SSH, and after authenticating, enter in the command TOP.
Thank you,
