hi,
just wanted to post this disclaimer to avoid use of Qsync clients coming from different platforms.
This is supposedly known bug as reported by qnap support. and hopefully "will be fixed in next version"...
FYI: MacOSx Qsync and Win Qsync = do NOT work together (until the release of newer versions)
Faulty setup:
additional information:
-central configuration mode is ON/OFF seem to happen on both settings.
-version control is OFF
-smart delete is OFF
-both clients use same "admin" user
-debug logs from both win and macosx machines are attached for your reference.
-problem appears on both 2.xx version macosx-client and 3.00.1201 version macosx-client of Qsync.
Resulting behavior:

Re: MacOSx Qsync and Win Qsync working together?
em... that would explain why my Macbook thinks it's sync'd when it clearly hasn't (and my Windows computer syncs fine).
So I pt qSYNC on a windows VM (using Parallels) on my Macbook and sync'd to a local windows folder which I then shared back to my Macbook.
This DID work - all files now available on my Macbook and my Windows desktop) but it does mean that I have to leave the VM running.... and that hits the power life of the Macbook.
