QSync syncing folders but NOT files for mac

Hello,

Reposting here since it may be a more appropriate location for this issue / question.

I have been having a very difficult time using qsync with normal qnap users on OSx Sierra. Qsync syncs the folders but not the files.

Operating system in use to access NAS: OSx Sierra
NAS Model: TVS-871
Firmware: 4.3.3.02238
Network Setup: Single Port

**NOTES**
When admin logs into Qsync it is able to successfully "selective sync" for any files we choose.
When I log into qsync with WINDOWS 7 machine, as admin OR regular qnap user, the selective sync will SUCCESSFULLY sync any files we require and are permissioned for.
We are using the latest qsync for Mac OSx
Syncing is indeed enabled for shared folders.
Users are permissioned for the directories.


We have attempted this with multiple users as well, it does not seem user specific. We have also attempted this on different Mac OSx machines too.
Does anyone have any advice where I can start to troubleshoot further? I am in dire straits, and hoping to get this resolved.
