Issues mounting TS-451 with Netbios name

Post by redfirebrooks »

Hello

I am fighting with an issue for some days now.

I am running MasOS Sierra 10.12.6 (lastest)
I have a TS-451 with the latest firmware 4.3.3.0262
The server name is MY-NAS

MS Network file system is enable
Workgroup name is HOME (also on the MAC)
set on Autonomous server
Highest SMB version is set on 3.0

Appletalk is enable
DHX2 is enable

NFS are OFF

At the start up I have a applescript running to mount the NAS with the following commands

mount volume "smb://user:pass@MY-NAS/Multimedia"
mount volume "afp://user:pass@MY-NAS/USBDisk1" <-- I have to use afp for the USB disk otherwhise I have can't access the folder (red icons) - it is also strange :?
mount volume "smb://user:pass@MY-NAS/Download"
mount volume "smb://user:pass@raspberrypi/pi" <-- No problem with my Raspberry

It worked without a problem for months but now I have a message saying connection to server MY-NAS failed - the server is unavailable.

Mounting with the IP address of the NAS works.

I didn't change anything in the configuration of the NAS ans the MAC.

Can someone help me please ?
