I have just up the TS-451 on my network. I do not understand the numerous mounting options available on the MAC.
If I use QfinderPro I can mount the volumes with no problem
As you can see from the picture under shared There are 4 entries that relate to the NAS
? 192.168.2.154
Nasf0b18e (no idea where that name came from )
Qnap
Qnap (AFP)
Both the 192.168.2.154 (IP address of the NAS) and Nasf0b18e both work.
Neither of the Qnap entries connect, I get a connection failed error.
Why 4 entries? how can I correct the connection errors on the Qnap entries ?

Re: Can Not connect to NAS under shared section in finder
This is an existing mount, there is an "Eject" button to the right, like ^mlachina wrote:? 192.168.2.154
No idea about the different name (looks like a default NAS hostname). This is the SAMBA NetBIOS announcement.mlachina wrote:Nasf0b18e (no idea where that name came from )
This is the Bonjour announcement for the SMB protocol.mlachina wrote:Qnap

Does Qfinder Pro show a different IP`
Potentially multiple NAS interfaces connected to the same subnet?
