Permission denied problems

Post by mdelrossi »

Just installed a 672XT and set it up as a static volume.
Populated it with my media files (photos and videos) made a folder structure.
All as Admin.

Added a few users, made sure they had privileges, even made one an administrator.

But no one except the Admin can access the files either in the web portal, or when f=trying to connect via the Qfinderpro app.

Firmware 4.4.0.0931

Thanks in advance.

I have the same problem. Qnap share mounted via smb but I get permission denied when mounted as afp. doesn't matter if I mount as guest or registered user. Both guest and registered user have write permissions in file station. Looking at perms in terminal I get
drwx------ 1 zebee staff 16384 14 Aug 18:48 Video

I am the user zebee so theory says I should be able to write to that directory but I can't. IF i connect as admin it works, even thought the permissions in terminal are the same.

I know this is an old thread, but has anyone solved this?
I can't access several folders using other users rather than the admin one, and all of them have administrator privileges and accesso RW to those folders.
What can be done?
Thank you.
