QSync on Mac OS Catalina High CPU

Post by flattman »

Hi,

i have a strange behaviour with the mac os verison of Qsync (3.6.0.1026). Every time the sync starts there is a very high cpu usage and the fan spins up. Sometimes this will end in an emergency shutdown because the temperature of the cpu is very high. This problems only exists during the usage of qsync.

Does anybody else have this behaviour or maybe a solution how to fix this?

What I have already tried:
- update qsync client to new version 3.6.0.1026
- complete reinstallation of qsync
- reset PRAM and NVRAM, reset SMC, disk repair (as mentioned here: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/250722805)

QTS Version: 4.5.1.1495
QSync Central: 4.3.0.1

Updating mac os to big sur is not an option, so i have to use catalina. Is there a debug log option in qsync client, how could I active this if it exists?

Thanks for your help!

Hi Flattman,

where you able to figure this out? I have the same issue.

Plus QSync does not sync all the folders... I have to check manually to be sure...
