We are connecting to a QNAP Shared folder via SMB. While navigating the share via the Finder, the position in the file tree will reset. It’s as if the connection to the file share is lost, but the OS does not report any disconnect, the drive still shows as mounted and the server reports the client is still connected so I don’t think there is an actual drop in the connection. We are having the issue with multiple computers running both Catalina and Big Sur. The issue appears to happen at random every 15 - 60 mins. I’ve attached a video showing the issue in action. Has anyone seen an issue like this before?

I read through that thread and applied the recommended command line fix
but the issue is still occurring. Any other suggestions?sudo nvram boot-args="serverperfmode=1 $(nvram boot-args 2>/dev/null | cut -f 2-)”

Maybe Bob Zelin can chime in .. I do not have any Apple products.. so I cannot test it
Wait for him to reply or contact him as suggested in the linked thread
