Can not access files on QNAP from MAC after upgrade of FW

I have recently upgraded my TS251+ to FW QTS 5.0.1.2248.
Afterwards I am unable to connect from iMAC or iPhones within my LAN.
The NAS is NOT accessable from the internet.
I can sign in to QNAP from a browser, but it is very very slow.

With previous FW it was all OK.

I have not changed any volumes, users, usergroups or anything else for that matter.

Please help!!!

Is it possible to downgrade to previous FW?

What is slowing the NAS down ? (process list) ..

And as always .. no Backups ? (a RAID is NEVER a backup)
