Bittorrent Sync on TS209

The 3rd party BitTorrent Sync app uses the P2P (peer-to-peer) protocol to synchronize an unlimited number of files (stored on the NAS) between your devices. Your data is not stored on a server in the cloud but is protected using private keys during file transmission.

Bittorrent Sync on TS209

Post by mitokde »

Hi,

Downloaded BitTorrentSync_2.3.2_arm-x09.qpkg

in System log:
[App Center] BitTorrentSync 2.3.2 installation succeeded.
[App Center] BitTorrentSync enabled.

No errors whatsoever, but, on port 14859 port at least it is not responding.

Did anyone make it work on an ancient 209?

Same. I don't know how to make it work either. Any know-how?

I have the same problem on a TS-419.

Problems:
  • accessing to the GUI very slowly (also 20 minutes) or not accessing at all;
  • ridiculous slow speed on LAN;
  • Sometimes even visible as an online peer from other devices.
I think the problem is the low resources on the NAS. But it should not require so much resources.
