Hi,
I can reach my QTS desktop via myQNAPcloud. However when I run Hyper Data Protector is opens it in a new window. Hence it only works when I am at the same local network as my NAS.
Is there a logical reason why hyperdata protector would not never work via myqnapcloud?
Or should it be a feature request for QNAP?

Please disable WAN access to your NAS immediately or find yourself in one of these threads sooner or later

Remote access should be done via VPN only (does not cost anything) .. plus will have the added effect of accessing QTS parts no matter what the used port is (your problem here)
