QNAP not available on the Internet

Good morning,

Since the last firmware updates, my qnap is no longer available via myqnapcloud.

I cannot access my webserver and most of my services on the Internet.

The myqnapcloud has all status green.

Looking into it I've noticed the uPNP screen in the myqnapcloud app is no longer available.

Does it mean this feature was removed? that I will have to setup the ports manually from now on?

Is this a glitch?

Its not a glitch, its done by intent!

STOP! USING! MYQNAPCLOUD AND PORT FORWARDINGS ASAP!!!

See the links in my signature what will happen (sooner or later) if you continue using this f***ing myqnapcloud!

If access from internet is needed, setup your own VPN server at router/firewall (do not mistake this with an external, paid VPN service like NordVPN!).
VPN is the only way for secure access!

You are 100% correct.

You guys opened my eyes.

All this work to get QNAP Server going, electricity bills, maintenance, service instabilities, and now security issues.

QNAP Server is in all definitions an unreliable product.

It's time to move to Apple Cloud.
