Hi everyone,
First post here, so hoping I don't break any rules! I did search the forum for similar questions but could not find anything. In the absence of an area in the forum dedicated to QuMagie, decided to post here as it also relates to myQNAPcloud service.
When generating a share link via PhotoStation, we have the option to chose between a link which leverages the WAN IP, LAN IP, SmartShare (via myqnapcloud.com), etc. Is there an option in QuMagie to also generate a SmartShare link (myqnapcloud.com) ? The only option available would require me to open port 8080 on my router/NAS and I'd like to avoid that.
Much appreciated for any help!

Re: QuMagie SmartShare Link
Yes.. avoid opening ports to your QNAP at ALL costs, a photo station exploit was the target of the September 2022 deadbolt wave (encrypting thousands of QNAP NAS for ransom)
Best way to share pictures with family/friends/clients is onedrive/dropbox/etc services, you don't want to EVER expose your NAS to WAN
