HELP! CANNOT CONNECT TO QNAP
hi I'm using TS-453Bmini, after reboot, I can access my qnap using local ip address and myqnapcloud, but after a while my local log-in will become unreachable, but myqnapcloud login will continue to work. system Log will also state that my network adapter 1 is detached, what could be the problem?

ohoh..better switch that off asap....We have seen a couple of exposed units last few days that stopped responding....could be a new attack wave
NEVER EVER expose you NAS to WAN!

Forgive my ignorance - how do you use myQNAPcloud without exposing your NAS to WAN? Isn't that exactly what it does?

Re: HELP! CANNOT CONNECT TO QNAP
There is cloudlink (and slow relay service) and the dangerous direct port forwarded DDNS service.
Just because QNAP offers that DDNS service, does not mean they will offer any assurance that doing so will not get your NAS hacked.
