Model: TS-453A
Firmware: 4.3.3.0154
Router: TP-Link Archer C7
I am unable to connect to my QNAP from outside my network. It worked fine up until a few days ago when I rebooted to update the firmware. After rebooting, I noticed that it wasn't reaching out to the internet because it wasn't able to download the update.
For network connectivity, under status, it states: Cannot apply mapping settings to your UPnP router. Please ensure the router's UPnP settings are enable. When diagnose, it basically gives me the same error, "The router does not support UPnP protocol or you have not enabled the UPnP function on the router"
Nothing has changed on the router or the server. I have not changed any of the port forwarding or updated anything. The reboot was to begin the update.
Under "Auto Router Configuration", the status states that it has found a UPnP router, but when attempting to view details, it's completely blank. The Diagnostics returns with the following error:
------ NAT PMP Diagnostics ------
initnatpmp() returned -3 (FAILED)
------ UPnP Diagnostics ------
upnpc : miniupnpc library test client. (c) 2006-2011 Thomas Bernard
Go to http://miniupnp.free.fr/ or http://miniupnp.tuxfamily.org/
for more information.
Checking the router, the same ports are being correctly forwarded and UPnP is enabled. Again, nothing has changed on the router side or QNAP side. Literally after a reboot, it stopped working.
What should I look at next?
Can not connect from outside the network (over the internet)

Re: Can not connect from outside the network (over the internet)
If you are going to access the NAS externally, you might have to forward ports in the router.
