NAS accessible by IP but not by DNS address

Post by steve15 »

Hello

I have 2 NAS on 2 differents sites, connected by internet. Call them NASA and NASO for the example.

On NASO RTRR and FTP service is active. I have a DNS like http://NASO.myqnapcloud.com. I can access on the web interface of NASO from all over the world with his DDNS address.

But, on NASA, i'm trying to connect my replication task RTRR with NASO.myqnapcloud.com but it doesn't work, when i click on test connection the result is failure. But, if i use the IP address (40.20.230.123 for example) of NASO it's work and RTRR can connect, the result is for example 3.40 Mb/s.

This behavior is the same for FTP, if i try to map a FTP connection on the FileStation of NASA with address NASO.myqnapcloud.com it doesn't work, but if i use the IP address (40.20.230.123 for example) it's work !

On NASO, in myQNAPcloud application on the web interface, in My DDNS, all is ok. I can access on my nas web interface with my address http://NASO.myqnapcloud.com !

Just for your information, until yesterday all is ok, but, in my home, i have a new FAI and a new BOX. But i reconfigured the port forwarding, NASO can connect to NASA with address QNAPCLOUD.

Thank you in advance.
