Removing / Deleting device from myQNAPcloud
I tried doing a search but could not find the answer. I sold my TS-412 to a friend of mine. I factory reset, re-initialized and physically swapped the HDD's around before giving it to him. The one thing I forgot to do was delete the device from myQNAPcloud. The device it still showing up. Is there a way to delete it from the list? Thanks in advance!

was asked before (can't find the post where) .. the only way is to have it either time out or contact qnap via ticket to have them change it

1) In "My Devices" left bar menu, click the server.
2) Click "Device Detail" in Top bar menu.
3) Click button "Unregister" in upper right corner.

This does work even though the NAS is no longer in your possession. You have to click the NAS you want to remove as sgillas notes in step 1) of the above process. After the pages loads the 'Device Detail' option is available from where you can 'Unregister'. Follow the steps, it does work

Responding to a unanswered question is perfectly valid and makes sense. It could be helpful to those looking for the same answer who may come across the thread as a result of a search.
