Watching video remotely very slow

Hello,

I can connect to my NAS via myQNAPcloud service but when I try and play a video the playback stutters a lot and it's basically impossible to stream the video smoothly.
I have tried with an episode of a series encoded in 720p at about 1.5-2gb file size and also with a movie encoded at 1080p with a file size of +-9gb. Is there anyway I can access my NAS to watch videos smoothly using myQNAPcloud or is there another way to connect to my NAS remotely ?

how did you watch the movie?

did you transcode it ? ..if not,your upload speed is probably too slow
