my qnapcloud URL is down

Why is my qnapcloud.com URL down?
It seems to be having problem with the DNS server.
Something or someone is not publishing the DNS name is it?

It doesn't work since yesterday in France, too...
I changed DNS servers from ISP to OpenDNS, works fine now...

Mistake number 1. You put your NAS on WAN/Cloud.

Hi everybody,
i have the same problem: my qnapCloud Link is always down after my router change WAN IP. Only after restarting router it works. But it is not a solution. Can smb help? DDNS and Cloud Link are installed, DNS as 8.8.8.8 set up. For me it seems like something between NAS and Router lost after IP change. I would be appreciate for any help.

ddns update could be retriggered as the router restart pulls the nas lan port down and up
how often do you update the ddns ?
is the router caching http requests ? (model?)
