App complaining about missing root certificate (Let's encrypt installed)

I installed a Let's encrypt certificate with the MyQnapCloud. works fine in my browser when I access qnap with the https://[mynas].myqnapcloud.com-link.

On my android-phone I have apps complaining about a missing root certificate. This is when I use FTP with explicit SSL. How to solve this? i admit that I don't understand too well how to install certificates (but the Let's Encrypt one is working for https! Yay!)
