HS-453DX configuration for minimum access rights with QBelt

I hope this is the right forum to ask this questions...
I have HS-453DX based media server that I would like to access from outside locations ( mobile phone, other internet WIFI networks etc ) to be able to:
- listen to my music via Roon or DLNA
- store and retrieve photos
- steam video to mobile and static locations.
- share and synchronise files between various family computers ( PC. Iphone ,MAC, tablets ) and keep separate backups for each of them on my server.
This should be strictly private access, to my family mambers only.
One suggestion I received on this forum is to use VPN access, so I decided to configure QBelt as a native VPN. I also created account on QnapCloud with PRIVATE access option and for the moment I do not publish any services.
My goal is to restrict access as much as possible while being able to do all above functions.
Could you please suggest the configuration ( including the modem set up for forwarding services ).
I am relatively new to this subject so please do not assume that some things are obvious..
Than you
