myQNAPcloud "no available device"

Post by sfm153 »

When the myQNAPcloud page opens, the "My Devices" tab shows "There is no available device belongs to [myname]", but the device is there under the "Friend's Devices" tab along with all the shared folders.
Opening the myQNAPcloud shortcut on the QTS desktop does not show or have a link to "Get Started" or to the myQNAPcloud wizard.
I can log into the QTS Desktop either as admin or as [myname], but haven't found anywhere that I can associate the device with [myname].
I would be just as happy to get rid of the admin user, but haven't figured out how to do that safely since the device only seems to be associated with that user.
How can I get my device to show up (and be associated with) [myname]?
