myQNAPcloud Link - invalid digital signature

Since updating recently to the new firmware (Firmware 4.5.2.1566) on the QNAP TS-253 Pro, I keep getting the alert ! icon on the App, myQNAPcloud Link 2.2.16, that it has an "invalid digital signature". The App service will stop, then I restart it, only to have it come up again and shut down the service.

I've checked for updates to the App, but this appears to be the most current version. I'm not understanding how an App developed by QNAP is coming up with an error of a bad digital signature. Any thoughts on how to correct the digital signature, and/or stop the service from shutting down due to the digital signature?

best idea to contact QNAP via ticket .. only they would know
