Movie Streaming Website

Post by ConnorRenfrew » Thu Mar 18, 2021 7:39 am

I'm quite new to web dev and I've been messing with react.js to make a movie streaming site which is hosted outside the local network. What I want to know is if it is possible for me to somehow set something up where it will automatically fetch the movies from a "Movie" folder through myQNAPcloud? and if so any help as to how would be amazing :)

Its a great way to get hacked ...so make sure you do not expose your nas to wan

exeption is plex gateay tunneled with 1Mbit per client (2 Mbit with Plexpass) or via portforwarding if you want to risk it (so gar no plex vulnerabilities known) .. could also be done via container for more isolation

What I could do is host the website off the nas then?

Aren't you afraid of copyright claims?
