I've not seen a single word from QNAP about what's going on which is ridiculously poor. Maybe they got hit by some ransom ware like Garmin a couple of months ago :Ocentromipc wrote: ↑Thu May 27, 2021 10:20 pm ddns problems continue from spain

Its been mostly working here in sweden the last 12 hours or so, but still coming and going it seem.
I notice CloudLink is reporting the local IP to the upstream DNS instead of the public IP as soon as their services goes offline, my ISP DNS reported 192.168... when I did a nslookup for my DDNS and my site was unreachable again just a couple of hours ago
but currently back online.

I think like you, I think they have been attacked
our support center does not stop receiving calls due to this failure
most clients can't connect to vpn, because ddns doesn't work
QNAP should inform us and give a solution quickly

Don't expect any statement in this thread .. QNAP does not come here
All of the posters hopefully only use the DDNS and do not expose their NAS to WAN .. otherwise we will all see you in the next ransomware thread

Re: myqnapcloud.com down?

Re: myqnapcloud.com down?
Strange... This all started after I logged out both my units from my qnapcloud account while I was trying to disable the DDNS services, which by the way doesn't work as it continues to update the qnapcloud DynDNS server up until... you kill it by unregistering your unit from the qnap server... Can't be me causing it can it?
