How secure are my files when accessed through Qfile?
Hi, I have a qnap nas device. I noticed that when i enable myQNAPcloudlink, it gives a disclaimer not to access private files as they go through the qnap server. Is this just a basic disclaimer or do my files stay on their servers? Im a newbie with this type of stuff, but I do know that popular messaging apps, like signal, are using end to end encryption so the info travels through their servers but doesnt stay. Is this the same qith QNAP? Or am I way off base...?

nobody knows..it's a black box
qnap probably reserves the rights to snoop just in case anything illegal goes on
best would be a vpn server run on your premises (does not cost anything) to access your files
