MyQnapCloud Not Working.

Hi all,

Since firmware [FIRMWARE] QTS 4.5.4.1715 Build 20210630 Released I'm facing this problem where I cannot access my qnapcloud link.

I usually have all network settings on manual but I changed to auto trying to sort this out. network cards and services like myqnapcloud DDNS and UPNP Port Fowarding.

My router was also factory reset and it's all auto now (UPNP on).

I'm using different ports for portal and web server to avoid clash with the internet provider (some block default ports like 80 and 443).

Web Connectivity test points out:

And the ports are opened:

I cant access the NAS Portal, Web Server and I cant access any of the services.

https://<<nas ip> OK

https://<<nas name>>.myqnapcloud.com FAIL

Firefox displays "Unable To Connect" and network tracker shows blocked 2secs.

Safari displays "Cannot Open Page".

I tried rolling back firmware but the issue persists, also there was a new firmware released recently but it didnt fix the issue.

I believe it is a permission issue going on on myqnapcloud server but Qnap Support cant verify.

MyQnapCloud could be redirecting to a invalid internal link or it has got a defective cache?

Maybe it is blocking some of my IPs or devices?

I'm 2 weeks with this issue and I really want to sort this out asap.

The funny part is Qnap Support says he can access and everything is fine.

Has anyone faced this issue? Any suggestions that could fix this?

cloudlink does not need open ports

any direct web exposure of your NAS should be removed asap..unless you do not value your nas or data (malware attacks)

so disable upnp on your router and remove manual port forwards

I am facing similar problem. I can't access the NAS using mynasname.myqnapcloud.com. But, I can access it by qlink.to/mynasname

The problem is with DDNS I assume

Expecting some solution.

This has been identified as a change or issue on qnapcloud link will not work in local LAN.

This means all your services configured using qnapcloud link will not work when you are at home but works fine in open internet.

This is awful and needs to be fixed ASAP. It's been 4 months and this issue continues happening.

We the community should push QNAP to focus it's attention and sort this out.

Since at this stage it's clear that QNAP is not going to fix QLink. What options do we have to make our NAS services available online?

Are you guys using a service or a private domain?

I have some domains but the problem is the NAS changing IP. Setup DDNS might not be an option.

I'm looking forward for some ideas.

I have the same problem, but apparently it works (at least for me) if you use https://qlink.to/....your_NAS_name_here

BTW, do not update your NAS to the recent firmware 5.0.... - it slow systems down a lot!
