QNAP provided products do not seem to be the same when attempting use via myqnapcloud. I have setup QRM, QuMagie, Qfile Qsync and Qmusic. All but Qmusic went fairly smoothly.
Qmusic, however, required me to map/expose a port from my home router to work. I tried many configurations because I could not find documentation on Qmusic's setup and cloud configuration. The end result was a functioning myqnapcloud access to Qmusic by myqnapcloud redirecting to my home internet address via the remapped port. It seems that the other products, QRM, etc, work via handling through myqnapcloud its self without the need to expose a home port.
Has this been other people's experience as well? ghutchnet

Re: qnapCloud inconsistancy
Never ever expose any ports of your QNAP via forwarding..if you need to reach your NAS via WAN...use a VPN (does not cost anything) with the server on your router or a device like raspi.
Exposing QNAP services can get you hacked and/or ransomwared
