myqnapcloud link issues using customised access
Now that you must sign in to QNAP ID to connect to the NAS, my users who used to only have access to file station can now logon and have the ability to shut down the server. How do I change this so they are only able to see and use file station only?

check with qnap via ticket..doubt many people here use those services (at least you are not directly exposing your NAS...a security nightmare)

Re: myqnapcloud link issues using customised access
Are these users member of administrators group?
At least when logging into GUI without being in admin group there is no option for reboot/shutdown?
Also SSH is not allowed for such users, so how can they shutdown the NAS?
Never used this myqnapcloud & (-link) staff by myself, so I am curious which options such users have?

thanks,
the user was part of admin group and it worked fine when removed access.
If you don't use this feature is there a better solution for staff to access files when working remotely?
