Poor design of File Station ...

Post by myborbor »

Dear Webmaster,

My PC is using Win7 Pro and with chrome browser version of 33.0.1750.146 m
Problems of File Station as below:
1. Using File Station to upload file from PC to my NAS with the limitation of 128 photos.
2. Using File Station can't upload "folder" directly to my NAS.

Please help us to update the software above.

Best Regards,
Myborbor

There might be a limitation for the concurrent amount of items.

Of course you can - just not by using the (Web standard - not poor design!) way for selecting and uploading files. With Java available, permitting File Station app to run, you gain access to the local computer - and you can move or copy folders between computer and NAS (both directions).

As well, when using Chrome, you should be able to drag-and-drop folders to the File Station (into the right pane) - this certainly works on QTS 4.1 currently in Beta.

Undoubted - the best way to work on a large numbers of files is using a LAN or VPN connection, using Windows Explorer, OS X Finder, ... and not sick on the always limited Web applications to heavily.

Please always provide NAS details, and firmware version and build as installed - because of things are developing and changing fast.

Regards,
-Kurt.

You can't upload the TS-212_20131219-4.1.0.zip - extract the firmware image file from it first.
