Mount IMG-images from within windows? / Clean IMG from snapshots

Hi!

A)

Is it possible to somehow mount the IMG-images from my VMs outside QNAP?
The VMs are windows and it would help immensly in QUICKLY recovering deleted files from a backup of it.
I've tried with simply mouting as RAW but it does not seem to be RAW-format.

B)

Using one IMG from one VM in another VM results in "cannot be added because of snapshots blahblah". But there are no snapshots of any VM at all.
It then asks me if it shall clean it but does not do it. Nothing at all happens when I click on "yep, do it!". Is there any command-line to manually "clean" those IMGs?
