Proxy Error

Post by manjulasrinath »

Following errors shows on loading the Virtualization Station window. Does not show control panel. VM is working inside (can ping and can remote log) But can't control from VS.

Proxy Error

The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request GET /qvs/.

Reason: Error reading from remote server

Apache Server at 192.168.1.2 Port 8080

QNAP Model, QTS Version & Build, VS version & Build? Have you opened a QNAP Helpdesk request? Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling VS?

Proxy Error
Suddenly I have the same problem with Virtualization Station 3.0.2819. I opened a ticket, since there is no info on the forums how to solve this. I tried reboot, reinstall VS 3. No luck

You need to add the IP address or name of your qnap device to the list of proxy exceptions.

Looks like a problem with stale session data that QNAP persist in cookies.

Clear your cookies for your NAS's IP/hostname and you should be good again.
Easy to test this with an incognito browser instance that won't carry over the old cookies.
