How to import VHDX into Virtualization Station?

Hello everyone,
I'm a QNAP newbie - I've just bought a TVS-472XT and excited to set up a Win10 VM on it.
I've checked various blogs and videos, but I'm a little confused about how to get started.
I have Windows Hyper-V and plan to make a clone of my current PC with Win2Disk.
This will create a VHDX which I hope to import into Virtualization Station.
BUT, am I right in thinking that VS doesn't recognise VHDX and so I'll have to convert it into an ISO before importing? It seems quite cumbersome - can you advise on a simpler way to achieve what I want?
For instance, is there another format of VM I can create using Win2Disk that won't require conversion?
I also want to make VM accessible via the internet, i.e. outside of my local internet, so I guess I need port forwarding set up - anything else?

Yes you will need to port forward the traffic from the internet to you VM, but i should point out that this is very risky if you haven't secured your VM.
