I am trying to import a VM from a ESXi environment into my NAS. But I am getting an error on every time I try.
Can not find CPU number. Assign 1 CPU
The CPU is assigned to 1, and I even tried 2 and 4 and still the same.
Any thoughts to this?
Thanks

Re: Importing VMware VM's
So figured this out.
Using some info from Virtual Box I figured when importing a VM from VMware that you need to do the following to be able to import the VM without a BSOD.
I exported the VM from ESXi into VMworstation 10.
Powered up and removed VMtools and unnecessary hardware. Serial/Floppy.
Changed the controller from SCSI to IDE
Restarted VM
Did export from VMWorkstation to OVF
Import into VT
Install VM Driver
Success!
