Failed to delete Note

After repeated attempts to delete a note and associated pages (Failed to delete Note error) I had to manually go into the mysql tables and delete the records (qn_Note and qn_Page). Curious though this seemed to be specific to the note I was attempting to delete. I was successfully able to delete other notes and pages without any problem. A more descriptive error message or a log to reference to resolve the issue would be helpful.
