Cannot see images in Getting Started

TS-231: QTS 4.2.2 (2016/11/02): MacBook Pro (Sierra): Notes Station 2.1:

This worked OK some months ago. I opened Notes today and was asked to log in to SQL Database. (The only change that had occured in between was a QTS upgrade.) Knowing I had not previously done so I checked Web Server and the ports seemed wrong so I changed them to default, but I then got 404 error. I reinstalled Notes which cured that and did not lose my previous Notebooks.
I noticed that Getting Started Guide had no images, just small icons. I re-imported the Getting Started guide but still no images.

I can find no setting that could account for this.
Can anybody enlighten me please?
