NextCloud23 @ Apache80 with SSL

Post by supergudrun »

Hi everybody,

I'm new here and this is my 1st post, so hopefully I'm doing right...

After Installation of "NextCloud23 @ Apache80", that I downloaded here: https://www.qnapclub.eu/de/qpkg/1224# , I'm able to access Nextcloud via http. The goal is the access via https.

I've got a Letsencrypt Certificate in place on my Qnap TS-230, but I've got no idea, what I've got to change in configuration of Nextcloud.

BTW: "apache & PHP 8.0.x" is also installed from the same source

Many thanks in advance for your help.

Cheers,
Rene

Hey,

is there at least one hero to help me? Unfortunately I was not able to find the solution by myself.

Please provide a hint, if you know how.

Cheers,
Rene

The certificate should be included in the configuration of Apache, not NextCloud.

Please find attached the content of the certificate-folder. Which of these files do I have to point to in the "httpd-ssl.conf?

Cheers,
Rene

Please can anyone help on getting Apache (and Nextcloud) secured via ssl, so the service will be available on https?

Cheers,
Rene

you will need to edit the apache/php files to get https working. this is not a QNAP issue its you need to learn apache/php for it to work as this is a vanilla build and not a QNAP QPKG that just works.

have a look here: viewtopic.php?f=320&t=151456&p=759959#p759959

same principals, just an older version being discussed.

if you still having problems, then post in the QPKG Apache80 thread.

once you have it all setup test your https connection and certs etc

also test your web servers performance.
