Increase file size limit?

Post by sunny7day » Mon Apr 27, 2009 3:38 pm

I can upload a 3G DVD iso via samba but can't access it from using the IE?
Smaller size files are ok though.

As far as i know, Apache 1.x is running on the x09 tools. With this version of apache it is not possible to stream larger files than 2GB.

You could try to install apache 2 via ipkg. But then you also have to reconfigure a lot of things.

Do you think they will release a firmware that contain Apache 2? Ever?

I don't think so, but with my older 409, i already installed apache 2 via ipkg for a test. The problem is, that you also have to install the php packages and mysql.

Then you have to start these services instead of the originals -> a lot of configuration work.

The memory of the x09 device could be the limit. With the new x39 series they implemented apache2 natively. And it seems to be that it is also on the x19 series.
